The rental villa is part of a small “ urbanizacion” set in well tended, beautiful, subtropical gardens with a large shared pool. It is 100 yards from the beach “Les Bovetes” (an area of Las Marinas which is one of the finest sandy beaches in Europe - all 14kms of it) and also has its own private garden. L’Escala is around 6km from the centre of Denia. This is not a soulless buy-to-let property but very much our second home and is a non smoking establishment and unfortunately no pets are allowed.

The 14 km Las Marinas beach is so big that even in the high season it is never crowded. It has very easy access from L'Escala and is wonderful for all water sports and kite flying. The sea is warm and the prevailing breeze from it keeps one comfortable and cool.VILLA FOR RENT
The living room with dining area leads to a large terrace overlooking the garden with tables, chairs and BBQ.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite work surfaces with all the usual amenities and in the lower ground floor utility room is an automatic washing machine and further fridge. There is a rooftop solarium with sea views.
The house is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and includes:

- All bedrooms have generous cupboard and hanging space.
- There is a further bathroom. Both bathrooms are 'designer' with top quality fixtures, fittings and decor.
DENIA TOURIST INFORMATION
Denia is about 85 km north east of Alicante along the Costa Blanca. It is not only famous for being one of the most attractive places on the Costa Blanca but has an authentic friendly Spanish atmosphere rather than some of the more “anglicised” places for which the area is notorious. You reach Denia via motorway A7 from Alicante or Valencia
Denia, between Gandia in the north and Javea in the south, is surrounded with orange groves and with its fine shopping, bars, restaurants, port and Marina is one of the most popular towns in the area. It lies directly in the shadow of the Montgo mountain, which surfers and sailors welcome, as the wind from the sea is reflected back to give a very predictable water sporting.
Climate
The weather reaches temperatures of up to 40 °C in summer and hardly less than 15 °C during winter and the sun shines for an average of 320 days per year. The climate of the North Costa Blanca is recognised as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation. People with arthritis come to the Costa Blanca and within days start to feel much better. In winter the Costa Blanca enjoys nearly as many sunny days as during the summer.
Denia and its harbour
With about 29,000 habitants, Denia does not only make its living from tourism. It is one of the most important harbours of the area, with ferry connections to Ibiza, Mallorca and other ports. This and the huge fishing fleet have made Denia a very prosperous city.
Attractions
One of the most visited tourist attractions of Denia is the Castillo (castle). The castle built in the 11th and 12th century offers a wonderful view of the sea, the city and surrounding country. In the castle is the the Palau del Governador with its museum. This, along with the Museo Etnologico provides details of the rich history and culture of the area.Shopping
There is excellent shopping along the main road of Calle de Marques de Campo and there are many excellent bars and restaurants. Denia is renowned for its special cakes and confectionary which can be sampled from the local confectionery and bakery shops.Sightseeing
Discover the beauty of the area by taking a trip on the N 332 with its stunning views. Another attraction of the area is the narrow gauge Denia/Benidorm/ Alicante railway. It is also well worth taking a boat trip from Denia port to Javea, Altea and Benidorm and admire the spectacular coast line of the Costa Blanca. Inland, there are numerous walks and drives in the hills and mountains with many beautifiul towns to explore.Water parks, go-carting and various theme parks are avaiable in the Benidorm area some 40 minutes away.

How to get to Denia
Denia has very easy access from either from Alicante or Valencia airport via the A7 motorway; both more or less an hour away. It is possible to arrange taxi or bus transfer to Denia but it is, on the whole, better to hire a car from the airport. We usually pre-book Herz via the web.Price
