The webmaster has stayed at this villa and recommends it. This is as far away from the Magalluf vision of Majorca as you can get. It is a Finca on the hill just a few minutes comfortable walk from the town, with wonderful views and offering total peace and privacy. At night, if you sleep on the veranda, you might hear the romantic sound of the sheep-bells tinkling in the distance.
If you enjoy a late evening swim with the freedom of not having to wear clothes, after having had a romantic walk and dinner in the village, this villa is for you - ideal for a honeymoon. Wonderful for a family too.
This villa was built 30 years ago by artist/architect Thadé Kaden and is a ranch-style house with a very Spanish ambience. It is in the countryside and enjoys lovely mountain views but is only a five minute walk into the Puerto de Andratx. There you will find plenty of bars and restaurants with shops and boutiques to browse in and the yacht marina with the clubhouse Club de Vela.

Holiday Villa to sleep 7, lovely location close to the Port of Andratx and very child friendly
The house is centrally heated and has an open wood-burning fireplace in the main living/dining room. The kitchen is compact but nice for the cook to work in. There are three bedrooms. The main one is a large room with two three-quarter sized beds and an en-suite shower/bathroom. The beds can either be used as a king size double or would easily sleep four young children. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds which could also be made into a double. This room has access to the shower/bathroom from the hallway. The third bedroom has a large single bed but there is plenty of space for the fold down bed that is available. There is an en-suite shower to this room. Outside is a utility room with washing machine, sink etc.
The living area is open plan with a corner chimenea for the winter evenings and a dining area which leads into the kitchen.
The house is secluded and surrounded by pine trees with a big view of the mountains to the back of the house.
On the pool side of the house there is a large covered verandah with a seating area; there you can enjoy outside cooking on the large built in corner barbecue. The neighbours' houses can barely be seen through the trees - the nearest is visible but built on a lower level so you are hardly aware of it.
About the house and the location
The house enjoys lovely mountain and countryside views but is only a five-minute walk into the Puerto de Andratx. There you will find plenty of bars and restaurants with shops and boutiques to browse in and the yacht marina with the Club de Vela.
The house has been used as a family home since it was built but now the owners are no longer able to spend the time in Mallorca they would wish for.

The villa is surrounded by magnificient places that you can visit, the beach is only 3 km away. 2008: Available from March 1st to April 11th, April 18th to 26th, May 10th to 17th, May 31st to June 14th, July 26th to August 2nd, and from August 23rd onwards.
Alcudia:Family holiday 3 bedroom villa near Puerto de Pollensa in quiet part of popular resort 2008: Available from May 13 - June 3, June 24 - July 1 and from August 26 onwards.
Andratx countryside: - Villa with pool. Situated in the countryside and less than a few minutes by car from Andratx beach. 2008: Available until 31st May, June 6th to June 14th, June 28th to July 5th, August 16th to 13th September, 4th October onwards.

Andratx countryside: - cottage and self contained apartment in countryside between Port Andratx and Andrax village a few minutes by car from beach. The accommodation comprises of a "Casita" (small cottage) and/or a double room in the main house. 2008: Good availability.
Cala D'Or:Six holiday apartments for rent at Cala d'Or with swimming pool, can be rented seperately or together for larger families who want to holiday together with some independence 2008: Good availability.
Luxury villa overlooking Puerto Andratx: This air conditioned villa is very private and has spacious living areas for family holidays. Covered terraces, out-door dining and a pool terrace make this a luxury rental. The twin garage has a lift for taking shopping down to the kitchen, although the temptation of the waterfront restaurants in Puerto Andratx means that aperatives and breakfast are the only meals likely to be taken on the terrace dining area. 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8. 2008: Good availability.
Cala Egos: Choice of townhouse or rental apartments on the exclusive Marina Dor III development with large swimming pools, private garden and close to beach. Sleeps from 2 - 8 with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms 2008: Good availability.
Inland near Algaida: - Renovated 2 bedroom villa with optional 1 bedroom annex, gardens and pool in peaceful rural setting, just 20 minutes from Palma or nearest beach. Sleeps 4, or 6 if the annex is also rented (not available separately). 2008: Available from March 15th to July 12th.August 16th to September 13th.September 27th to October 31st.
Cala d'Or: - 1 bedroom apartment with swimming pool 5 min to the Es Forti Beach. Sleeps 2/4 people.The marina of beautiful Cala d'Or attracts yachts and smaller craft from throughout the Mediterranean. 2008: Good availability.
